Copyright Law and Photography
Images and photographs may not be copied in any
manner (including home scanning). All images and photographs are
copyrighted at the moment of exposure and are protected by federal
copyright laws (U.S. Code Title 17, Public Law 94-533).
All negatives, transparencies, digital files and originals remain the
property of michael lentz photography. All other rights are reserved by
michael lentz photography. Unless noted, our rates / prices apply to the
use of photography for personal portraits only. No other usage allowed
without written permission. Any allowed Special Usages will be listed in
our agreement. Authorship Credit is required for all Special Usages
except High School yearbook portraits. Specific usage for commercial
images are detailed in our Agreement.
Web site images may not be copied or disseminated by any means or
manner.
Permission must be granted from the copyright holder of any images we
work on. A duplicate copy of your original is made and therefore
necessitates permission from the copyright owner.
